Beau says, "After my dreams of becoming a cowboy were dashed, I settled on the TV gig." Beau attended Montana State University at Billings, a small school of 4300 students. He graduated in 1998 with a degree in Mass Communications. Beau states, "I am confident that I can now mass communicate." Beau was also on the men's cheerleading squad at MTSU-B. Beau started his broadcasting career as Sports Anchor at KTVQ TV (CBS) in Billings, Montana in 1999. Beau joined WCTV 6 in April of 2001 and is the sports anchor for WCTV’s Eyewitness News. He brings a fresh approach and a more than the scores attitude to the weekend sportscast. Beau is not married but claims he is practicing various parts of the marriage process on a daily basis. His hobbies include long walks on the various beaches of Lake Ella, playing basketball and being the president of my bridge club. In my spare time I can be found doing various yard work around the WCTV offices. My favorite college teams are the Montana State Bobcats and what is left of the University of Colorado, don't get me started on Gary Barnett. |

FAVORITE TEAM: UCLA Born in 1954, Mike is Noel Dieterich's older brother and one of six Dieterich brothers. Mike is divorced and has a 29 year old daughter. He works for Volvo (30 years) in the Newport Beach area. Mike is a die-hard UCLA, Rams, Lakers, Dodger fan and an 8 year season ticket holder to The Rose Bowl (The Granddaddy") and UCLA games and attends with 3 to 4 others. Mike loves to eat and enjoys BBQ and says eating is a big family tradition. He would rate the family's tail-gate parties an A or B+ Mike has a thing for Quarter Back Sack Brownies. "Hey Noel, Oh well he made it to half time." He says he enjoys rock concerts, bowling, golf (which he sucks real bad at), camping, Las Vegas, assorted traveling, and chasing two legged deer. The best game he ever attended was probably the 1998 UCLA v. Texas game (score 66-3). Mike hates the Miami Hurricanes specifically for wrecking UCLA's title chances in 1998. He roots for FSU and Florida. If USC plays the Noles, "I will be wearing Seminole gold and doing the chop!!" |

HOBBIES: GOLF, COOKING, WRITING, POLITICS, TRAVEL FAVORITE TEAM: WASHINGTON, UCLA. Noel was born and raised in California (southern and northern). He graduated HS 1978 in Montclair, CA where I played against Mark McGuire in baseball and Anthony Munoz in football (he hurt me). Played defensive line. Noel attended Cal Poly-Pomona, UCLA, Cal St. San Bernardino and graduated from Azusa Pacific University. He attended one class with Christian Okoye (KC Chiefs). He also did some graduate studies (Sports Psychology) at University of Washington (Woof!) from 1989-1990. Noel has lived in the Seattle area since 1989. He's married to Shannon who works at an architecture firm in Tacoma, Noel & Shannon have three children: Dan (26), Mary (24) and Tom (22). Noel works for Montgomery Water Group, Inc. designing and managing dam construction. Noel's hobbies are golf, cooking, writing, politics, travel. Favorite pro teams: Seahawks, Rams (pre move to St.Louis), and Vikings. I despise: USC, Oregon, Nebraska, Penn State, any Big-10 school, any Florida school and especially Notre Dame! Work-wise, Jim is a research assistant in the Geology and Geophysics Department at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Jim is a verified rock hound. His field of research is in Microscale chemical analysis and imaging of rocks and materials. He enjoys exploring the insides of live volcanoes, serious rock slides, and large unusual chunks of marble. Jim also enjoys his dogs. |

Lauderdale, FL. Matt attended FSU and majored in economics (Economics Department) starting in 1985 graduating with a BS in Economics in 1990 Matt now resides in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area (since 1994) where he is importer/exporter of exotic animals and birds as well as hoofstock for Animal Source Texas, a member of Source Group New Zealand. Matt is active in the North Texas Seminole Club as a board member and was club president for 5 years. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and he's an all-around sports enthusiast. BASEBALL LEAGUE, BEER ENTHUSIAST, SPORTS Eric was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on July 23, 1968 and he moved to Tampa in 1971. Eric attended and graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa where he played football, baseball, and basketball. In 1986 Eric signed with Florida State University as an offensive lineman for the Seminoles. Luallen (#77) played all 5 positions for the Seminoles. He graduated with a degree in Economics. Eric was part of two Fiesta Bowl wins over Nebraska, a Sugar Bowl win over Auburn and an All-American Bowl win over Indiana. He was also a finalist for the Seminole Radio Network color analyst job for football which eventually went to P.T. Willis, one of his former teammates. Eric has done play-by-play. As a long time sports junkie LuLu will talk about it all whether it is football, basketball, baseball or hockey, you name it LuLu will chime in on it. He loves to talk about college sports and the Seminoles, but if you really want to get him going just bring up the world champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the struggles of his beloved Cincinnati Reds or the ineptness of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Tampa Bay Lightning. And as much as he professes to hate the NBA he's been known to talk about it when prodded. In October Eric will celebrate his show's 4th anniversary. Eric enjoys drinking beer and reading. He's single and plays baseball in theTallahassee Adult Recreational Baseball League. |

Melissa was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Metuchen High School in 1994 and went on to attend Boston College on a softball scholarship where she was captain her senior year [softball photos]. Melissa graduated in 1998 from BC with a degree in communications. Melissa joined WCTV 6 Eyewitness Sports in March of 2003 and is the anchor of the Weekend Edition of Eyewitness Sports. Melissa is also a producer. at WCTV, She comes to Tallahassee after working first in Boston and then for a year and a half in Fargo, North Dakota and CBS affiliate KXJB TV. She loves sports and used that as a platform to get into sports broadcasting. Melissa also enjoys running and taking her swings in the batting cage. Melissa's favorite sport to play is basketball but her favorite sport to watch is baseball. She's a die-hard Yankee fan, loves college football and the NFL and says she has a thing for the Vikings. She says, "Go Patriots!" Melissa's hobbies include, going to the gym, running, drinking Coffee, she says, "Or as we say in New Jersey...Caw-feeeee!" |

Mike is from Tampa, Florida where he graduated from high school and where his parents, sister, and grandparents still live. Mike attended Florida State University and was a member of The Marching Chiefs. Mike graduated with a BS in Meteorology in 1988 from FSU. His career began when he interned at WTSP in St. Petersburg, FL. After graduation Mike went to WTVT where he served as Staff Meteorologist. In 1993 Mike became Chief Meteorologist at WCTV 6 Eyewitness News in Tallahassee where he's seen at 6 and 11 pm week nights. Mike also operates a weather web site M.I.K.E with useful weather info. High school - Oak Ridge High School, Orlando, FL, "Go Pioneers!" Kenny attended a tech school for computer programming but family circumstances kept him from going to FSU as he wanted to. Hobbies - rock music (Arjen Anthony Lucassen is a favorite) sports and comedy fan, lots of spectating in these areas and some writing. I'm the co-admin of the Seminole Email List. Work - professional freelancer on things such as custom merchandise printing, writing articles, database maintenance/data entry, web design, and selling my own line of merchandise, among other hats I wear. |

HOBBIES: GARDENING AND TRAVELING Judy is a military brat, and was born in Peoria, IL and has lived around the world since but mostly in Tallahassee (three different times) where she graduated from Leon High School and Florida State University (graduate school). Judy is heavily involved with the League Of Womn Voters. Judy got hooked on college football while at the University of Oklahoma 1960-1963 (where football is KING) during the last years of Bud Wilkerson's coaching career. When she moved back to Tallahassee she easily transferred her loyalties to the Seminoles. She thinks the NBA should join the WWF where it belongs, prefers college football and basketball to the pro versions, loves to watch pro cycling when Lance Armstrong is racing, is crazy about the Olympics (even curling, biathalon, track cycling and all the other mostly ignored events). If she didn't have bills to pay, she'd spend most of her time working in the garden or traveling. |

Moved to Perrine, Fl. (Miami) and attended a private high school. "I am still in counseling over the four years at this school." Renegade escaped to FSU in 1977 and eventually "earned" a degree in Business Management. Survived two years in the vaunted Magnolia Hall (Animal House) and was elected Dorm President (head deviant). Renegade works for Florida Power & Light. He says he's rumored to be the illegitimate son of Lee Corso and half brother of Stuart. He Partied on Bourbon Street with Kirk Herbsreit and Chris Fowler the eve of our championship game vs. VTU to gain keen college football insight. Hobbies include sarcasm with a twist of humor. I am a season ticket holder and I have been fortunate enough to attend many spectacular away games vs. Notre Dame, Michigan, Auburn, USC, Iowa State and all but one championship game (the "death" game vs. FU). I arrive at our home games via the Orlando Booster clubs vaunted bus where I met Kenny Moore. I list this only because he may deny knowing me. |

MULTILINGUAL/MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION, FSU 1992. HOBBIES: WATER SPORTS, SWIMMING, BOATING, FISHING. Shirley was born in Cannes, France, but spent 10th, 11th and 12th grades in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She then spent 25 years in Canada, where her husband was a chemistry professor and she raised two sons. During that time, she earned a double Master's degree in French and German from McMaster University. She also taught French for two years at the bilingual campus of York University in Toronto. Shirley moved to Tallahassee in 1990, where she earned an M.S. in Multilingual/Multicultural Education at FSU. During the summer, she teaches at The American School In Switzerland (TASIS) in the Swiss Alps, where she has had the good fortune to go rafting, canyoning, ballooning, paragliding, glacier-skiing and mountain climbing. Shirley taught French at the University Of Mississippi but left in the Spring of 2004 and now is teaching part-time at Broward Community College and teaching privately while awaiting that permanent job offer to come along. She loves the Ocean and all water sports - swimming, waterskiing, boating, fishing. Favorite college teams are the Seminoles, which she is passionate about, and the Ole Miss Rebels, whom she follows. . |

TENNESSEE - PH.D. HOBBIES: Melissa is an Electrical Engineer at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN just outside of Knoxville. A recent Ph.D. graduate of the University of Tennessee, she remains ultimately loyal to her alma mater - Florida State University where she obtained her BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering. While she still enjoys her time keeping fit in the gym, running, flying, and playing golf with her husband Harrison, her priorities have shifted a bit. She and Harrison have twin toddlers, Courtney and Allison that keep them very busy. The family plans to watch lots of college football this season (especially FSU, wearing the Garnet and Gold proudly) and hope to attend a game in person. Melissa returns to the football pool this year after taking a year sabbatical to get through the infant stage with the girls and is ready to test her wits in the always unpredictable college football season. Chris then received his M.S. in Applied Statistics in 1981 from FSU. From 1982-1985 Chris was a Lieutenant in the USAFas a Systems Analyst. From 1985-1989 Chris was a Captain (USAF) and was Chief of the Defense Analysis Branch working on analysis software for the B-1B bomber. That's how Matt Stitsinger describes his job as a sports reporter for WHAS-TV. Before coming to Kentuckiana, Matt worked as a sports anchor/reporter and news reporter in Tallahassee, Florida at WTXL 27. Prior to that, Matt worked in Terre Haute, Indiana at Action 10 News WTHI-TV as a news reporter and fill-in sports anchor. Matt graduated from Indiana University, completing internships in Columbus, Ohio, and Indianapolis while in Bloomington. Matt grew up just north of Cincinnati in Hamilton, Ohio. He enjoys pulling for the 5-Time National Champion Hoosiers. However, his favorite sport to watch and cover is college football. Growing up in Ohio, Matt always went to The Horseshoe with his father to watch his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. HOBBIES: COLLEGE FOOTBALL ENTHUSIAST, FSU BASEBALL FAN Cheryl was born in Trenton, NJ Feb. 19, 1959. She grew-up in Hamilton Square, NJ until 1969 when she moved to North Palm Beach, Florida. Cheryl attended and graduated from Palm Beach Gardens H.S. in 1977 then attended Florida Southern Univ. (the armpit of Florida) and went into day care as a profession. Cheryl married Chuck in 1989 and converted from a UGA fan to an FSU fan. She then moved to Tallahassee in 1990 with Chuck. Cheryl loves all FSU sports and is a rare female college football addict and watches from 12 noon until the last game is televised that night. She says "There's nothing like a cold, wet night at Doak Campbell Stadium." Cheryl also enjoys watching other sports like the Olympics. Cheryl is a Stephen King movie fan and has seen them all. Chuck is administrator of the Taylor Pool. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on Dec. 11, 1955 and grew-up in Syracuse, Indiana on Lake Wawasee. He graduated from Palm Beach Gardens H.S. (FL) in 1974. Chuck graduated from Florida State University in 1984 from the College of Social Sciences with a BS in Political Science, International Affairs and Geography. Chuck has lived in Tallahassee since 1979. In football he is interested in the the geo-political activity within conferences - the moves, realignments and how it affects play, scheduling, and bowls. He loves analyzing and studying conference changes and teams moves. Chuck has administered The Taylor Pool since its infancy in 1995 when it began as an email only picks contest. His first live college football game was Wake Forest@Purdue in 1968. He likes to keep up a little on the Jags and Bucs. Famous distant relatives: Hal Ketcham who created 'Dennis The Menace'.
